Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a beautiful view overlooking Oban Bay and has efficient and friendly service. However, the room could be improved as it got very warm overnight and the bedside light was broken. The location is lovely for those who enjoy a sea view but might not be ideal for some due to the narrow staircase. The dining experience was excellent with a good choice of food.
The hotel had a great view over the bay and close proximity to public transport, making it a brilliant spot to relax. However, the room was dark and dingy with old furniture, and the dining was not worth the price. The service was very helpful and nice, contributing to a relaxing stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were small and tacky-looking, although beautifully decorated but lacked any view, especially for the price of £200 a night in an economy room located at the back of the hotel. The corridors and communal areas at the back were not as appealing as the front of the hotel.
I had a pleasant stay overall at the hotel. The location was lovely, overlooking Oban bay, and a short walk to the town center. The rooms were clean and fresh, but slightly overpriced for the level of service. The dining experience was not impressive, especially considering the price.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the location was amazing with breathtaking views of the bay, the rooms were disappointing, outdated, and even flooded during my shower. The service was a mix of friendly and indifferent. The dining experience was fantastic with a luxurious selection of Scottish dishes.
The hotel overlooks the bay, offering a comfortable stay with some dark rooms. The staff lacked experience in handling billing issues and engaging with guests, and the room size may not justify the price paid.
The hotel's location is stunning, right at Oban Bay with beautiful sea views. The rooms are a bit run down and small but comfy, and the staff are welcoming and professional. Dining is good but could use some improvements. Value for money overall with notable positives and negatives.
